21 Jun Cellular Uplink and Sports Coverage – 3xScreen Presentation at the Inaugural Streaming Media Europe Streaming Forum
The inaugural Streaming Forum went off with style at the Park Plaza Victoria in London this week, featuring talks from two keynote speakers and 30 discussion sessions over the two-day event.
The focus of the event this year was streaming media industry game-changers provided a perfect platform for an eye opening presentation from 3xScreen Media Director Scott Robinson. The 3xScreen presentation, which was made alongside Ronen Artman, LiveU’s VP of Marketing, illustrated 3xScreen’s innovative use of mobile uplink technology with particular attention being paid to their sports broadcasting capabilities using the LiveU LU70.
Reduced cost, diminished pre-live stress and fewer human resources were three areas that were demonstrated as benefitting from 3xScreen’s unique workflow. This is achieved while maintaining professional production values such as instant replays, multiple-camera angles, multi-language audio and graphics. These are added from their London-based Master Control Room are all part of the package, all in high definition and a fraction of the price of traditional sports broadcasting.
Since 2006, the Streaming Media Europe Conference has been a high-energy event where pioneers and decision makers in the video streaming and broadcasting industries can showcase their work and this year’s Streaming Forum is a natural evolution of this.
