Social Live Streaming

Some may say that social media and live streaming go hand in hand – and at 3xScreen Media we couldn’t agree more. Live streaming is a fantastic way to increase the audience of any event, so it’s no surprise that integrating social media into the live streaming experience has proven to be such a highly effective method of retaining viewers and improving the overall audience experience.

Here at 3xScreen Media, we have extensive experience in engaging audiences through the power of social media. In fact, we integrate social media into nearly every live stream we do. Our social media solutions are as diverse as the projects we work on. From something as simple as a moderated Twitter ticker, to enabling the audience to ask questions via Twitter, chat widgets, YouTube or Facebook, we create custom solutions for any requirement.

See below for examples of how our live streams have improved through the integration of Social Media.

Boiler Room

With over 50 million views last year on YouTube, the global Boiler Room community of House music fans shares opinions and chat via multiple social media avenues. All of Boiler Room’s live streamed DJ sets and performances are streamed simultaneously on YouTube and on the Boiler Room website. Streaming across multiple platforms increases the number of available social media integration options. YouTube has its comment functionality below the player and on the Boiler Room website, there are integration with Facebook and Twitter as well as an embedded chat widget.

Visit the Boiler Room website here.

Cage Warriors Prelims

Cage Warriors takes a different approach by hosting a part of their live stream on their Facebook page, allowing Cage Warriors Facebook fans to watch it free and use the Facebook comment tool.

[hr]Made for social events

Events made specifically for social media are on the increase. Hollywood is using live Q&As to connect its stars to fans via Twitter or Facebook.
